Instead of deleting empires that are inactive for 5 days from game, kick them from sectors and turn them red so everyone can tell is free to hit and everyone including same sector empires can leech/break them as targets especially for times during round when alliances have peace and nothing to hit. This way more land/roids can stay in play instead of being lost from game due to deletion.

You could also apply to any empires being deleted due to breaking the rules, just lock out the account so it cant be logged in to. Like I stated, it would keep at least a few more roids/land in play we can get to use to grow with and cut down on them being wasted. :) :)

I like the idea, I'll figure about implementing it for SFv5.1

However, Deleting empires already turn purple (or...they should do) and can't log into their empire. The empire finally expires 24hours after the ruler 'deletes'

Yes it turns purple if player deletes. I was talking about empires that get deleted by the admins. But, apply to all empires that delete/get deleted where the account is locked out, turns purple (that works too), and becomes hittable by all (including same sector), and doesn't disappear until is killed off, or could make it until it has 0 land and 0 roids left so 0 of either gets wasted. (I really hate seeing empires die because everyone hits land and kills them with like 200+ roids) But if empire was deleting/deleted then there is no reason we shouldn't be able to completely leech to 0 of each. (just wanted to run that by the admins/you all too) ;)
